The Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition (RAMP) is an international joint call funded by multiple countries for projects that contribute to a sustainable and secure supply of raw materials in the green and digital transition. Projects must be developed by consortia with partners from several countries and address one or more of the thematic areas of the call’s thematic areas.

The European Commission finances research/innovation and capacity building within semiconductor technologies under its Horizon and Digital Programme. The European Commission and the national research councils work together to finance the projects. The announcements that are relevant for this national co-financing announcement are advertised on the website of Chips JU (Participate).

MarLEN - Maritime Low Emission Network

The purpose of the call is to promote international cooperation on research and innovation to strengthen the European Research Area in green maritime transport.

Weave

Researchers at approved Norwegian research institutions can now, under the European Weave initiative, participate in project proposals with a Swedish lead applicant. This is a pilot call for Weave between the Research Council of Norway and the Swedish Research Council for sustainable development (Formas). For this call, Norwegian researchers will be able to apply jointly with Swedish colleagues via “Explore” - Formas’ open call for research projects.

2026 International Joint Initiative for Research Harnessing Disruptive Technologies to Address Global Challenges

This call aims to harness the potential of disruptive technology to offer novel solutions to global challenges and accelerate progress towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The projects are required to address at least one of the seventeen SDGs.

BiodivFuture focuses on supporting future-looking research and innovation that will address biodiversity and novel ecosystems, as well as their socio-ecological dynamics and consequences relating to the sustainability goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and associated future pathways and trajectories of change. The call covers investigating the causes (drivers), effects (biological responses), and outcomes (including opportunities, risks and trade-offs) of current and future trajectories of change in all relevant realms (terrestrial, freshwater, marine and coastal areas), in all regions of the world.
