FutureFoodS Call 3 (GETS) – Pre-announcement
The European Partnership FutureFoodS has pre-announced its 3rd transnational call, “GETS - Getting Everyone Together for Sustainable Food Systems: empowered consumers, innovative sustainable products and trusted value chains”. The call is expected to open in early November 2026 and will support research and innovation projects that contribute to sustainable food systems from both land- and sea-based resources.
A central feature of this call is its strong focus on post-harvest challenges across food systems and food value chains. FutureFoodS focuses on issues arising after food has been harvested. Primary production activities are not in focus under this partnership.
Norway participates through the Research Council of Norway (RCN) under the Portfolio for Food and Bioresources. Proposals must address one of the following topics:
- Trusted and transparent sustainable food value chains
- Consumer agency and enabling food environments for healthy, safe and sustainable food practices
- Innovative processing for sustainable, safe and nutritious food products.
Eligibility and evaluation
Consortia must include at least three partners from three eligible countries.
Both research-oriented and innovation-oriented projects are eligible.
