This course provides a detailed explanation of the general financial rules of Horizon Europe. We will explain the difference between budgeting and actual cost reporting, and their everyday impacts on managerial and accounting practices, diving into the rules of eligibility and what makes a cost direct.

Information about calls for proposals under Polish cooperation programmes for research and innovation from the EEA and Norway Grants

We have invited the Polish research councils to come to Lysaker to share information and answer questions about the two largest calls for research collaboration from the EEA and Norway Grants. Both the call for basic research (EUR 50 million) and applied research and innovation (EUR 70 million) will open in Poland in June. The Research Council wants to contribute to that Norwegian partners can prepare and use this opportunity. This is a hybrid event.

SCAR Open Science Conference 2026

The SCAR Open Science Conferences are the world's premier Antarctic science meetings and are held every two years to draw attention to Antarctic issues. The Norwegian Polar Institute is hosting this years conference in Oslo, with the Research Council of Norway contributing in the Local Organising Committee (LOC).
