SAMRISK II - Programme on Societal Security and Safety
The SAMRISK programme provides funding for research on societal security in order to prepare society to deal with the unexpected. Research activities seek to generate new knowledge and a deeper understanding of the risk and threats facing society as well as the capability within society to deal with and maintain critical societal functions and safeguard the life, health and basic needs of citizens during events involving major stressors.
