The funds will support research on the role and development of culture in the context of technological, environmental, and societal change.

This call applies to research projects that promote new knowledge about how local and coastal fish stocks in the coastal zone and fjords along Norway and/or around Svalbard respond to changes in climate and/or the environment.

Enabling and pioneering technologies can establish new markets, change the landscape of actors, and create new business models. Through this call, we aim to fund projects that have the potential for breakthroughs that can impact individuals, society, and industry. Projects aiming for incremental progress are not part of this call.

The projects shall promote research collaboration between Norwegian research communities and relevant societal and industry stakeholders to increase the knowledge base on seabed mineral activities and the potential consequences that any mineral extraction may have for the marine environment.
