FINNUT – Programme for Research and Innovation in the Educational Sector
The FINNUT programme provides funding to research and innovation activities across the entire educational sector from early childhood education and care institutions and schools to higher education and adult learning. The knowledge generated is to be of relevance for policy development, the public administration and the field of practice.
Funding is being announced for research on interventions in early childhood education and care (ECEC) and primary as well as lower and upper secondary education. The funding is provided as part of the Government’s national competence strategy in education.

Application submission deadline for call for proposals for Innovation Projects in the Public Sector
To enhance the role of research in renewal and innovation in early childhood education and care and primary and secondary education, owners of early childhood education and care (ECEC) institutions and school owners in primary through upper secondary education may seek funding for Innovation Projects in collaboration with at least one research group.
