Joint Call for Proposals with Brazil for Research and Technology Development within environmentally friendly energy, petroleum and green shipping

The call is open to projects within selected areas of environmentally friendly energy, petroleum, and green shipping. Only research organisations are eligible to apply for and receive funding under this joint call. The project consortium must include at least one approved Norwegian research organisation, at least one Norwegian company, at least one approved Brazilian research organisation, and at least one Brazilian company. Industry partners must cover their own costs and contribute either in-kind or through cash funding to the project. The total public funding in each country may not exceed four times the contribution from industry partners in the respective countries. Finep will fund the Brazilian applicants, while the Research Council of Norway will fund the Norwegian applicants.
