The Research Council of Norway and the Regional Health Authorities jointly announce 1.2 million euros for transnational investigator-initiated clinical trials

The aim of the call is to support and enable transnational collaboration between clinical research communities on investigator-initiated clinical trials.

The studies for which funding is sought must:

  • deal with cardiovascular, autoimmune or metabolic diseases
  • be randomized
  • be designed as pragmatic comparative-effictiveness studies and/or drug repuposing studies

If additional funding for cross-cutting management activities is to be applied for, ECRIN must be contacted by 30 November 2025.
