MSCA COFUND 2026: Webinar about co-funding of programmes for doctoral and post-doctoral candidates
- Digital:
Live streaming
About the event
Norwegian research and innovation institutions can strengthen their programmes for doctoral or post-doctoral training through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions COFUND action. This webinar is primarily directed towards decision makers at institutional level and others who would like to have extra funding for early-career fellowship programmes (and not individual researchers).
The co-financing of fellowship programmes is not widely used in Norway, and it is not well known what the COFUND activity under MSCA entails. In the webinar, you will get an understanding of whether COFUND is an opportunity for your institution or not.
The webinar will be held in English.
Program:
- Introduction by Per Magnus Kommandantvold and Berit Sundby Avset, National Contact Points (NCP) for MSCA
- MSCA COFUND Call 2026, Jozsef Mikita, Project Adviser, The Research Executive Agency(REA)
- “LEAD-AI”, our MSCA COFUND project, with Pinar Heggernes, Professor and former Vice-rector at the University of Bergen
- Q&A
The 2026 call is the last where it is possible to have postdoctoral programmes funded under the action. The “MSCA Choose Europe for Science” scheme will take over from 2027.
MSCA COFUND 2026 has a deadline on 8. April 2026 with a budget of 105,5 million euro. Link to the call. Here is information about Norwegian COFUNDed projects:
