About the event

Are you working with breakthrough technology that has market potential? The European Innovation Council (EIC) could be an instrument to support you on this journey.

The EIC is Europe's leading innovation program to identify, develop, and scale up breakthrough technologies and ground-breaking innovations. The EIC wants your breakthrough technology to reach the market and has tools ranging from research, through commercialization, to scaling. Few Norwegian researchers and companies apply for the EIC.

This event is relevant for researchers, companies, TTOs, research leaders, research and innovation administrators, EU advisors and innovation advisors.
Michiel Scheffer, the president of the EIC board, will be the chief guest and will present the EIC's vision and strategy, while other participants from the European Commission will provide in-depth information about EIC funding instruments, Pathfinder, Transition and Accelerator. Norwegian researchers and companies that have applied for the EIC will share their experiences.

Participants attending in person can book bilateral meetings with the EIC-Accelerator NCPs from Innovation Norway or attend a Q&A session on the EIC-Pathfinder and Transition autumn 2024 calls with Bart Van Caenegem, Head of Sector at EISMEA, in the afternoon.

A pre-booking is required for the afternoon session, get in touch with Waqar Ahmed  (The Research Council of Norway) or Inger Elisabeth Strand Karni  (Innovation Norway) to book your participation.

This is a hybrid event. Those participating in the Research Council's premises in Drammensveien 288 will be able to sign up for a free lunch after the event.
