National Competence Centres III for High Performance Computing

The Research Council is contributing up to 9 million kroner in national co-financing of one new national competence center for HPC

The objective of the EuroHPC call is to further develop the existing European network of National Competence Centres for HPC.

EuroHPC is announcing funding for national centers of excellence in high-performance computing for the third time under the Digital programme. Norwegian partners must coordinate and apply with an international consortium.

For the national funding, research institutes can budget with the hourly rates they normally use in applications to the Research Council. EuroHPC funds the project according to the rates for the Digital program.

Any aid to an undertaking is considered state aid and will be granted under Article xx of the EU General Block Exemption Regulation.
