Internationalisation is one of the main priorities in the process of strengthening the quality of Norwegian research. This prioritisation is stated in the White paper "Commitment to Research" (2004-2005). The white paper establishes that bilateral research collaborations with North America, Japan and China are of particular importance.

All programmes in the Research Council contribute to internationalisation by being involved in network activities and directly supporting research collaborations. So what is FUGE's contribution?

Three main activities
FUGE contributes to internationalisation in three areas: ERA-Nets, North America collaboration and Nordic collaboration. You can read more about the individual areas of collaboration in the menu on the left hand side.
