Indo-European call on Bio-Economy in process

Eight of the nine proposals had partners in Norway, and seven of these were found eligible according to Norwegian guidelines and sent forward to evaluation. The result of the evaluation and selection process is expected in Mid-December.

The aim of the Innovation call is to create long-term R&I collaboration between innovation stakeholders based in India and Europe and to pave the way for potential joint market exploitation in the field of bio economy.

Bio economy comprises those parts of the economy that use renewable biological resources from land and sea – such as crops, forests, fish, animals and micro-organisms – to produce food, materials and energy. Norwegian participation in the call will be funded by the BIONÆR programme and topics under the programme are eligible for funding.

Details on the call can be found here.
