Arctic Field Grant (AFG)
The Arctic Field Grant supports fieldwork for students and researchers collecting data in Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
The application deadline for AFG 2025 is planned to be 13 November 2024 at 13:00 CET.

The call text for AFG 2025 will be published here on this page and on the Research Council website closer to the application deadline. Application to the call opens six weeks prior to the deadline.
All applications will go through the Grant application form from the Research Council of Norway. Please read the HowTo, FAQs and terms & conditions carefully before starting the application process as missing information may lead to the rejection of your application. AFG Reporting
The AFG scientific and financial reports must be submitted electronically through the RCN reporting module on "My RCN web" as two PDFs in English. The deadline is 1 December 2023. The mandatory template and scientific reports from the previous year can be found on this page.
