Svalbard transport possibilities with vessel Horyzont II Summer 2019
The Polish vessel Horyzont II will sail between research destinations in Svalbard twice during the Summer 2019, and offers transport for people and cargo.
Application deadline for transport with Polish vessel Horyzont this Summer is 15 May. Transport is free for SIOS members, as this constitutes the in-kind contribution of the Polish research station in Hornsund to SIOS. Non-members pay standard price.
Horyzont II sails Hornsund-Longyearbyen-Ny-Ålesund-Longyearbyen in June and August. The sailing plan for June also includes Kaffiøyra. The same offer will be made for trips in 2020 and 2021 (details to be confirmed).
