1 mill. NOK for fieldwork in Svalbard
The SSF and The Research Council of Norway are very happy to announce this one-time call for funding for fieldwork in Svalbard.
The research activity in Svalbard is heavily affected by the current Covid-19 situation and many research projects are on hold or have limited activity. In order to support new and strengthen existing research projects in Svalbard, the RCN offers a one-time grant for fieldwork.
The call is open ended, the total amount available is 1 mill. NOK and the maximum amount you can apply for is 100.000 NOK. Projects based in Ny-Ålesund, utilizing the unique research infrastructure there, along with projects involving master, PhD students or early career researchers will be prioritized.
