About the event

The Research Council of Norway arranges an ERC Proposal Reading Day. The event is for researchers who are planning an application to the European Research Council, ERC.

On the reading day you'll get the opportunity to read successful ERC grant applications in order to see how a proposal might be structured. Approximately 40 Norwegian ERC-grantees have given their kind consent to make their proposal available for the reading day.

During spring 2020 we will organise reading days in Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen, Tromsø and at the Research Council. Please see separate announcements for each day.

In order to participate you should be familiar with the various ERC grant schemes, as well as the conditions for participation and proposal documents. The reading days are only open for researchers at Norwegian institutions (universities, university colleges, research institutes etc.) as well as for EU-advisers at the same institutions.

7-8 times each year we are organising courses on how to write an ERC application in collaboration with some of the large universities. The courses are announced at the Research Council events page.

If you have questions regarding your ERC application, please contact the EU-advisors/External funding advisors at your institution. You may also contact us, the National Contact persons for ERC (NCP), see below. All information regarding ERC applications and grants are available at the ERC web site.
