26 June: Text about projects sought in connection with the Government’s third package of financial measures to address the impacts of the coronavirus outbreak added under the priority areas NOK 120 million for research on land-based food systems and Up to NOK 150 million for research on sustainable use and management of land.

Increased funding amount for the priority areas NOK 30 million for research on circular value chains for products that contain plastic and Up to NOK 40 million for research on resource-efficient waste management and management of hazardous waste.

Adjustments to the prioritised research needs in the priority area Up to NOK 40 million for research on resource-efficient waste management and management of hazardous waste.

Information about the role of the Norwegian Retailers’ Environment Fund added under the priority area NOK 30 million for research on circular value chains for products that contain plastic.

Purpose

Collaborative and Knowledge-building Projects are to develop new knowledge and generate research competence needed by society or the business sector to address important societal challenges. The projects are to encourage and support collaboration between research organisations and stakeholders from outside the research sector that represent societal and/or industry needs for knowledge and research competence.
