Registration of hourly rates from the institute sector
Institutes must budget hourly rates that they calculate and stipulate themselves based on actual costs and efficient operation for all R&D projects that receive contributions from the Research Council. The rates must be reported to the Research Council on an annual basis.
The reported hourly rates are to be used in all R&D projects that receive contributions from the Research Council irrespective of whether the institute is leading the project or is involved as a partner in what is known as an effective collaboration with the Project Owner. The hourly rates must also be used in projects funded through the basic funding from the Research Council.
The research institutes that report hourly rates to the Research Council are assigned a guest user. This user is granted access to a browser-based form in which the hourly rates are to be reported. A username and password for the guest user will be sent to the Research Council's contact person at the institutes.
A detailed User guide to the online form for hourly rates (pdf in Norwegian) has been prepared to assist with completion of the form.
Guidelines for registration of hourly rates from the institute sector 2021 (pdf in Norwegian) describes the Research Council’s requirements of what must be reported.
