Funding

The thematic priority areas are climate and the environment, natural resources and sustainable activity, and policy and management. 

We have a variety of financial mechanisms, some with open-ended deadlines as well as a number of scheduled application deadlines per year. 

Applicants compete with one another for funding. Approved Norwegian research organisations may apply for funding under calls. Non-Norwegian research organisations can be project partners.
