NOK 7,5 million to ERANet-LAC Joint Call

NOK 7,5 mill is available for Norwegian partners in a joint call with European and Latin American countries through ERANet-LAC. Bioeconomy and Health/ICT are the thematic fields Norway contributes to.

NOK 7,5 mill (approx. € 800.000) are available for Norwegian partners/applicants.

Guidelines and important considerations relevant to all types of applications in this call for proposals:

This is a joint call of programme owners from EU Member States, countries associated to the 7th EU RTD Framework Programme and Latin America and Caribbean countries. Also some non-members participate with funding in the call.  A total of 30 funding agencies from the following 25 countries contribute to the topics of the call:

EU: Norway, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey

LAC:  Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay

Only researchers employed at an eligible institution in these countries are eligible for funding through the ERAnet LAC Joint Call. Applications are accepted only from project consortia. A project consortium must comprise project partners from at least 4 different countries, of which at least two from an EU Member State/Associated Country and two from Latin American countries. These project partners must be eligible for funding according to the regulations of their respective Funding Parties, which are members of the Group of Funding Parties.

  • ICT

NB: Norway only participates in topics under Bioeconomy and Health/ICT themes in the call.

The Biorefineries topics are in line with the purpose of the programme Sustainable Innovation in Food and Bio-based Industries (BIONAER) For more information about BIONAER, press here.

Projects to be funded by BIONAER must lead to value creation for industry and society. Industry partners (relevant representatives of industry and other stakeholders) are encouraged to take part in consortia under the two biorefineries topics.
