Given a successful review of preliminary proposals under step 1 of the CEPI Call for proposals for vaccine development against Lassa-MERS-Nipah, CEPI hereby invites shortlisted applicants to submit a full proposal for funding.

Please note that the deadline is absolute and final. It is not possible to submit a grant application after the deadline has expired, nor is it possible to update an application or provide any additional information. It is possible to update and re-submit grant proposals as many times as needed up to the expiry of the deadline. The most recently submitted version of the grant application will be used as the basis for review.

This second step of the call for proposals is an invitation of shortlisted/selected applicants to submit full proposals based on their preliminary proposals.

Please read carefully the CEPI Call for Proposals, as this is the legally binding document for allocation of funds.

Applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposal with the CEPI secretariat prior to the submission deadline in order to ensure alignment between the proposals and CEPI’s objectives.


Please use the CEPI specific guidelines when completing the online application form as the integrated online RCN guideline system is not tailored for this call.

Applicants invited to submit a full proposal should contact in case of questions on the electronic submission system, access to proposal form templates, technical and administrative issues related to this invitation, including the scheduling of any meetings or teleconferences to address potential clarifications raised in letters of invitation to step 2 received from CEPI.

Costs incurred by the applicants in preparation and submission of proposals, or for contractual negotiations, will not be covered.
