The aim of the Research Council of Norway’s subject-specific evaluations is to provide a critical review of the Norwegian research system in an international perspective. The final report from the evaluation of educational research in Norway will be presented at the conference.

Sixteen Norwegian institutions participated in the evaluation of Norwegian educational research. The evaluation was conducted by an international committee consisting of nine members. The committee is headed by Professor Mikael Alexandersson of the University of Gothenburg. In addition, experts in six international specialist panels have reviewed the documentation provided by the research groups in connection with the evaluation.

The evaluation report includes specific recommendations on measures to enhance the quality of educational research in Norway. The panel leader will present the main findings of the evaluation during the seminar.
