Be aware of the success factors on how to win an ITN! Take part in the information meeting for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions call for Innovative Training Networks (ITN) for 2018. The meeting will be streamed for the convenience of those with travel challenges.

Few actions in the Horizon 2020 are so popular as the MSCA ITNs. You get to work with the best of networks in your field, and can have the salary of one or more phd-students covered for three years.

The ITNs are training and career development projects, not research projects as such. The proposals are judged not only on scientific excellence, but also on the innovative training of doctoral students on their way to a career inside or outside of academia. You also have to prove the capacity to train these students within the limits set.

You can participate in European Training Networks, Industrial Doctorates or Joint Doctorates, and the suggested budget amounts to 442 million euro. Get an edge in the competition, participate in the meeting. Expected deadline for ITN 2018 is 17. January 2018.

There will be two parts in the meeting. First the National Contact Points will give advice on the call and how to write a competitive proposal. And then Marit Eldholm from ARENA at The University of Oslo will share her experiences from the successful ITN-project PLATO. The language used will be English.

Sign up before 21. September
