The development research programme, Norway-Global partner (NORGLOBAL) has been granted funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an extension for the period 2016–2024. The Research Council invites you to join us in launching the NORGLOBAL 2 programme.

The programme will provide funding for high-quality research targeted towards achieving global sustainable development in line with the UN SDGs. The programme will help to promote coherence and long-term knowledge generation within the field of development in Norway, and will strengthen cooperation between Norwegian and international research institutions, including research institutions in developing countries.

The NORGLOBAL 2 programme will adopt a challenge-based approach, focusing on the most important thematic and geographical priorities set out in Norwegian development policy.

The first call for proposals under the NORGLOBAL 2 programme has been issued with up to NOK 64 million in funding available for research on international development.
