Comments

The applications were reviewed by India and Norway in parallel, and only applications that received high marks from both the Norwegian and Indian review processes qualified to be further considered for funding. Based on the joint recommendations from Indian and Norwegian side, on 19 February 2018, the Department of Science and Technology in India and the IKTPLUSS allocation committee made the final decision of funding and rejection of applications. Within the limitations of budget and the joint ranking process, regrettably many very good applications are rejected.
