Call for papers

The Russian-Norwegian Arctic Offshore Workshop will next year be an integrated part of the Arctic Frontiers Conference. The PETROMAKS programme at The Research Council of Norway and the Russian Academy of Science with the Oil and Gas Research Institute in Moscow encourage you to participate at this event, both as participants and as speakers.

It will be four parallel science parts. Interested scientists are invited to submit abstracts to  sessions for both oral and poster presentations. Deadline for abstract submission is October 24th 2011.

Call for abstracts are announced at the Arctic Frontier website, and the abstract submission form can be found there (follow this link).

Artic Frontiers
The Arctic Frontiers (AFT) conference is a central arena for discussions on arctic issues. The conference brings together representatives from science, industry, politics, and civil society to share perspectives on how upcoming challenges in the Arctic may be addressed to ensure sustainable development.

The sixth Arctic Frontiers Conference ‘Energies of the High North’ will be held in Tromsø, Norway from January 22nd to January 27th 2012. Arctic Frontiers 2012 will discuss the global energy outlook, and assess the potential of traditional and renewable energy resources in the North.

Arctic Frontiers is composed of a policy section and a scientific section. This call for papers addresses only the scientific section from January 25th to January 27th 2012.
