Fascinating insight into advanced petroleum research

The PETROMAKS programme is the umbrella for most of the petroleum related research supported by the Research Council of Norway. In its new brochure, PETROMAKS presents eight fascinating examples of the highly advanced research being conducted under the auspices of the programme.

The eight articles range from a narrative on "ice that burns", to the use of bacteria for increasing oil production, and new technology that will reduce the costs of searching for oil and gas deposits.

In addition, the brochure describes the PETROMAKS programme as a whole and the programme's goals.
