7 new projects funded - 35 million krones allocated
61 proposals were received at the 26th November 08 deadline. Total sum applied for was NOK 316 mill.
Some of the projects granted have either been awarded less than the amount applied for or are required to supply additional information. They may be asked to resubmit their budgets for final approval before the allocation to the project can be finally confirmed.
All applicants will be sent a letter from the Research Council of Norway (RCN) informing about the decision made by the Board. The written statements submitted by referees will accompany the letters. Applicants are kindly asked to await the receipt of these letters and assessments before contacting RCN for any further details.
We take the opportunity to remind applicants that referee assessments are utilised by the Board as consultative documents only in order to help the Board in their final ranking of proposals.
