More than 100 scholars from various academic disciplines will meet and discuss contemporary as well as historical processes in Latin America, and look more closely at the possibilities and constraints evident in the region's political, economic, and cultural changes, as well as its religious, gendered, and environmental realities. The conference is supported by the Research Council, the University of Bergen, Chr. Michelsen Institute, and UNIFOB Global.
