Find calls for proposals

The list below contains information about RCN's calls for proposals. Normally the Norwegian version of a call will be published in our Norwegian website before the English version is ready. Some calls for proposals will only be published in a Norwegian version.

Application deadline 13.02.2013:

Applications may be created starting 9 January. Our electronic grant application system will undergo a major update on Tuesday, 8 January 2013. Therefore, grant applications for the 13 February deadline may not be created until Wednesday, 9 January.

Note: In case of a conflict, it is the Norwegian call for proposal which as a rule is the legally binding version.

    EEA: Polish-Norwegian Research Programme 2012-2016

    The SMARTRANS programme is announcing funding of NOK 24 million for projects with a maximum duration of three years. The programme concludes at the end of 2014. This is assumed to be the final call for proposals during the programme period. Funding may be sought for four project types.

    The Research Council is announcing funding for cooperation on polar research between Norway and USA in the Arctic, and between Norway and Russia on Svalbard. The earliest permitted project under both sub-programmes is 1. March 2013.

    The objective is to promote industrial utilisation of biological raw materials, residual raw materials and biological processes in agricultural and marine-based value chains through the use of innovative biotechnology research.
