GLOBVAC programmet vil tilrettelegge for at norske forskningsinstitusjoner og - selskaper skal kunne være vertskap, organisere eller delta i nasjonale eller internasjonale konferanser (workshops og seminarer).

3-5 year projects are invited in all thematic areas of the Programme. Full proposals must be submitted by 18 April 2012, 13:00 CET, and will only be accepted from applicants who submitted a mandatory Project outline by 30 November 2011. It is expected that 15-20 projects will be funded.

Minst 60 millioner kroner er tilgjengelig for forskerprosjekt, prosjekt for yngre forskere og brukerstyrte innovasjonsprosjekt (2010-2012) for å utvikle og gjøre tilgjengelig vaksiner i lav- og mellominntektsland. Norske institusjoner kan søke, og det er ønskelig med internasjonalt samarbeid.

A total of up to 70 mill. NOK (14 mill. USD) is available for the period 2009-2011 to support researcher projects, user-driven innovation projects, young scientist grants, and centers in vaccination research. Norwegian institutions can apply, and international collaboration is encouraged.

A total of up to 30 mill. NOK (6 mill. USD) is available from the Research Council of Norway (RCN), and matched funding from Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India, for the period 2009-2011 to support joint Norwegian-Indian researcher projects and user-driven innovation projects.

This call consists of project establishment support for developing research proposals for the upcoming call on vaccination research with application deadline September 3rd 2008. Joint Norwegian-Indian projects will be part of that call.
