About the database

The Research in Svalbard (RiS) database  provides information about planned, ongoing, and completed research in Svalbard. It is intended to facilitate coordination of research and field activities and foster cooperation between researchers.

In RiS you can search for projects, topics, data sets, persons, geographical locations, institutions, publications and much more.

Anyone can search the database. No password or user ID is needed.
