Kort omtale: The objective of MOPPMEMS is to develop a smart hip prosthesis with an embedded pressure sensor. The project will explore the use of MEMS technology for in vivo applications and the sensor will provide data on the pressure inside a functional prosthesis joint through clinical research. During the first 8 months of the project a number of miniaturized pressure sensors have been manufactured, tested, and calibrated an a selection of biocompatible protective coatings have been evaluated.
