EU-Kommisjonens Future Internet PPP (FI-PPP) er et betydelig satsningsområde i det nye ICT-arbeidsprogrammet for 2011-2012. Totalt 300 millioner Euro av ICT-budsjettet er allokert til dette initiativet. Den danske Forsknings- og Innovationsstyrelsen og Norges forskningsråd inviterer derfor til et fellesarrangement i København, 15.-16. juni.
