Seven new centres were appointed by the Reasearch Council Board on 16th December 2010. They have started their activities in the autumn 2011 and are expected to operate until 2019.

SBBU - Centre for Drilling and Wells for Improved Recovery, IRIS 
 

The first 14 SFIs were appointed by the Executive Board of the Research Council and announced by the Minister of Education and Research on 16th June 2006. The centres started in the spring 2007 and will be financed by the Research Council for eight years until the spring 2015.
