NANO2021 call:

Up to NOK 60 million for research on nanotechnology and advanced materials

Funding is available for Norwegian- and bilateral French-Norwegian projects within the priority areas “renewable energy” and “improved health”.

NANO2021 have issued its first call with deadline february 15. 2012. The intention with the call is to establish basic knowledge and form a basis for business development within areas of significance for society. Relevant topics are nanotechnology and/or advanced materials within the thematic areas of improved health and renewable energy.

The project results are to be used in a sustainable and safe way. In the project description the applicants will be urged to adress health, environmental, societal and ethical consequences of their research.

Within the call, there will be an opportunity to apply for funding to joint French-Norwegian research projects. Norwegian partners will use the the RCN call, and relevant application types are Researcher projects, Innovation projects for the industrial sector and Knowledge-building project for industry.
