5 mill NOK from MAROFF to the MARTEC (Maritime Technologies) – Call 2011
The ERA-Net MARTEC II will open a transnational call for collaborative research projects which include at least two independent industrial participants from two partner countries. The evaluation will be done in one stage. The closing date for proposals is 29th April 2011
Common information
The European Commission supports European Research Area Networks (ERA-NETs) in different areas to strengthen the European research and development.
Several Ministries and research management organisations have established an open network in the area of maritime technologies, called MARTEC.
Funding in MARTEC should combine the advantages of European partnership and the use of national project management. To demonstrate such possibilities, a transnational call has been opened. Funding is available for collaborative research projects in a number of priority maritime areas. Proposals can be delivered up to 29th April 2011 via the MARTEC portal http://www.martec-era.net/opencall/. Priority funding is for projects which include at least two independent industrial participants from two partner countries. Only projects, which receive funds from at least two countries, will be supported by MARTEC.
Further Information can be found on the MARTEC web portal http://www.martec-era.net/opencall/.

The consortia should send the MARTEC proposal form; in addition to any further information required by the relevant national funding institution (see specific national regulations below). Proposals will be pre-checked on national level and finally evaluated at international level.

The standard information in the electronic application form shall be submitted. This shall include information about the Norwegian partners and the Norwegian part of the cost budget and the proposed financing.
