The French Norwegian Foundation promotes long-lasting French/Norwegian cooperation through the financing of joint R&D projects in which both industry and research institutes/universities are involved with the aim of creating cooperation lasting beyond the project-period.
Applications should be submitted to the Foundation before May 3, 2013, to the Secretariats in both countries. The Board has two meetings a year (June and November).
Nano and materials technology was identified as one of six priority areas under the bilateral research and technology agreement signed between France and Norway in 2008. A major joint seminar in Paris on 9-10 June forms part of the effort to translate the intentions into action.
A seminar took place in Paris on June 9 and 10, 2011, with focus on possibilities for common projects within NMP in the two last calls from FP7.
