01.07.10	Successful Workshop i Murmansk Challenges in the North require cooperation between Norway and Russia. The Research Council of Norway and the Russian Academy of Sciences arranged the 5th Arctic Offshore Workshop on the 16th and 17th of June.
13.01.10	Innovation Award seeking applicants “Innovation generates increased growth and earnings”. So says Siri Helle Friedemann, new chair of the ONS Innovation Award Jury. ONS is now receiving nominations for its 2010 Innovation Awards.
18.12.09	New rules limit size of project descriptions A technical feature added to the Research Council’s electronic grant application form will now automatically limit the size of the project descriptions that can be uploaded. It will no longer be possible to upload an attachment that exceeds the page total stipulated in the individual call for proposals or application requirements. The new feature will be put into operation for all grant proposals submitted for the 17 February 2010 deadline.
