Budget
Each year, the Research Council submits a budget proposal to the ministries. The Research Council's budget is specified as part of the National Budget. Once the National Budget has been formally adopted, the Research Council's budget for the subsequent year can be presented.
The Research Council's budget for 2012
The national budget for 2012 provides only a slight increase compared to 2011. The Research Concil's budget totals NOK 7 billion.
Budget input 2014
The Research Council has proposed an increase of NOK 1 billion for research and eight priority areas in the 2014 national budget.
