The Polish-Norwegian Research Programme has completed the call for proposals. A total 269 joint proposals were submitted. Results of the ongoing evaluation are expected in early March 2013.

Poland logo Norwegian research institutions interested in developing their cooperation with Poland are adviced to explore the opportunities in other EEA-programmes.

The call for the scholarship programme is now open. Funding for student and staff mobility is available, as well as funding for institutional cooperation (workshops, study trips, development and preparation of new teaching tools and methods). Deadline is 7th March.

The first call is completed in the cultural exchange programme. Another call is expected this spring.

Research programme details

Programme Operator: National Centre for Research & Development (NCBiR)

Programme budget: 43 mill EUR, of which 38,8 mill EUR is allocated to research projects to be selected on the basis of calls for proposals.

• environment
• climate change, including polar research
• health
• social sciences and bilateral relations, including the issues of migration, social cohesion, the role of minorities and the social dimension of sustainable development
• gender equality and work-life balance

Timeline

The call deadline was 30th November 2012.

Funding decisions end of February 2013. Results will be published in early March. Earliest start of projects March 2013.

No more calls are foreseen in this programme period (2012-2016).
