- Forskning magazine no.4/2009 (in Norwegian) (PDF-3 832.9 KB)
The upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen provides the backdrop for this year's final issue of Forskning magazine. We are introduced to the Government-appointed Klima21 forum, which is responsible for developing Norway's national strategy for climate research and the implementation of research findings. We also meet five climate researchers who review the state-of-the-art in their respective areas and point out knowledge needs.
The issue also discusses important Norwegian research on global soot emissions, where China is the biggest offender.
Other topics include the situation for Norwegian research in the wake of this autumn’s parliamentary elections and subsequent budget proposal for 2010, and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the German-Norwegian E.ON Ruhrgas scholarship programme.
