Forskning magazine no 4/2008:

Open access, landslide research and therapy over the Internet

The current issue of Forskning magazine takes an in-depth look at scientific publishing and the call for free access to scientific findings. The magazine also features articles on topics as diverse as international landslide research and the development of web-based psychotherapy programmes that facilitate behavioural change, for example in alcohol habits.

Included in this issue are several articles (in Norwegian) on the escalation of European research cooperation and Norway's role in this, which will provide a good guide to a complex and important topic for Norwegian readers.

Forskning magazine

Forskning magazine offers news and features about Norwegian research and the initiatives and activities of the Research Council. The magazine also focuses on the internationalisation of Norwegian research as well as the debate on strategies, plans and decisions concerning Norwegian research in general.

Four issues a year

Forskning is issued (in Norwegian) four times a year. In addition, supplementary issues dedicated to special topics are published from time to time. Selected articles from the magazine are translated into English on a regular basis and published on the Research Council website.
