Mobile-phone access to Research Council
Now you can keep up-to-date on Research Council news, research funding announcements, and events – all from your mobile phone.
The service is available in both Norwegian and English. Go to m.rcn.no for the English version, or m.forskningsradet.no for Norwegian.

The website’s mobile-phone edition is tailored to a phone’s screen width and is compatible with browsers on the most popular platforms: Symbian 60 (Nokia, Samsung), Android (HTC), iPhone OS, Windows Mobile (HTC, Samsung and more), and Sony-Ericsson. Opera Mobile is also supported.

Wondering about an application deadline or the name of a contact person for one of our research programmes? Want to check if we have recently published news about your research field? Now it is easy to stay updated on what’s happening within the Research Council, whether you are interested in news articles, funding announcements or coming events. The service is also searchable for news and Research Council employee contact information.
All the webpages of the various research programmes are accessible by mobile phone as well.
Search for allocations
Project manager Bjørn Holta of the Research Council says that new services are on the way, for instance with regard to grant application. At the end of summer, a special menu will be ready to provide an overview of new projects that have been awarded funding.
