Kristin Danielsen new International Director
Kristin Danielsen has been appointed as the new International Director at the Research Council of Norway.

In her new role Ms Danielsen will be working to coordinate the international activities of the Research Council and to promote international research collaboration.
Furthermore, she will head the Research Council’s international coordination committee, which is responsible for coordinating international matters that involve multiple divisions of the Research Council.
Ms Danielsen will report directly to the Director General, Arvid Hallén.
All divisions involved
The strategic and operational responsibility for independent international activities is distributed across the Research Council’s four divisions according to subject area and scientific focus.
Kristin Danielsen comes to her new directorship from the position of Director of the Department for Knowledge-based Bioeconomy under the Division for Innovation at the Research Council, where her tasks included responsibility for coordination of the division’s international activities.
