Forskning magazine no. 1/2009:

Celebrating Darwin Year

In this year's first issue Forskning magazine joins in the celebration of Darwin Year. Topics as diverse as language, economics, and fish are all seen in an evolutionary perspective and we follow young Norwegian scientists on a Darwin memorial expedition.

Also on the menu are articles on reproductive technology and red king crab production, a potential new seafood success story for Norway.

Forskning magazine

Forskning magazine offers news and features about Norwegian research and the initiatives and activities of the Research Council. The magazine also focuses on the internationalisation of Norwegian research as well as the debate on strategies, plans and decisions concerning Norwegian research in general.

Four issues a year

Forskning is issued (in Norwegian) four times a year. In addition, supplementary issues dedicated to special topics are published from time to time. Selected articles from the magazine are translated into English on a regular basis and published on the Research Council website.
