NOK 21 million in funding for research on environmental exposures and health outcomes | Choose |
| Open-ended | The MILPAAHEL programme – Support for Events and Personal Overseas Research Grants | Choose |
Human beings are exposed to a vast number of environmental factors in both the indoor and outdoor environment. The primary objective of the MILPAAHEL programme is to generate new research-based knowledge on the interaction between the environment and health to help to reduce the negative health impacts of various environmental factors. In the context of the programme, environmental factors are limited to physical factors and chemical and biological contaminants. In general, research on the working environment will fall outside of the scope of the programme.
Importance will be attached to ensuring that activities under the programme address total human exposure and incorporate basic as well as applied research questions.
Please also refer to the work programme for the MILPAAHEL programme (2011-2015), which describes the thematic basis and secondary objectives of the programme.
This call for proposals encompasses all the thematic priority areas under the MILPAAHEL programme.
Universities, university colleges, independent research institutes and other publicly funded research groups.
2011-2015
Assuming zero budget growth, the overall budget for the entire programme period (2011-2015) is approximately NOK 112 million.
