Objectives:
MAROFF will help realize the Government's maritime strategy for the promotion of innovation and environmental value creation in the maritime industries. The program will contribute to maritime companies and research institutions development of their knowledge advantage, and supports projects that are oriented towards the research challenges that are necessary to achieve the three key innovation areas
- Environment
- Advanced transport and logistics
- Environment-friendly demanding maritime operations.
The target groups for MAROFF are the shipping companies, shipbuilding industry, service providers and equipment suppliers to all types of vessels and aquaculture facilities. MAROFF also support knowledge building in research on technological and social science of importance to the maritime industry in Norway.
This programme/activity normally accepts grant applications from:
Trade and industry, independent research institutes, and universities and university colleges.
Duration:
2010 - 2019
Overall budget:
The budget for 2010 is NOK 132,5 million.
