Objectives:
The Leiv Eiriksson mobility programme is a follow-up to the "Norwegian Strategy for Scientific and Technological Cooperation with North America" (2004). The programme aims to contribute to the long-term escalation of R&D collaboration with the USA and Canada by allowing more Norwegian researchers to spend time in the U.S. or Canada, and vice versa.
This programme/activity normally accepts grant applications from:
Designated individuals affiliated with research-performing institutions/companies in Norway, the US or Canada. This grant scheme is open to all academic areas of study.
Duration:
2010 - 2014.
Overall budget:
The total annual budget is approx. NOK 6 million.
